Committee Sinks “Hole-In-One” at 2008 Labor-Management Golf Tournament
More than 115 individuals recently hit the links at Clinton Hill Golf Club to drive in more than $25,000 to further the work of the Labor Management Committee of the Leadership Council Southwestern Illinois.
Amid absolutely perfect weather, golfers enjoyed lunch, a full round of game play, a dinner reception and the ability to strengthen working relationships.
Bill Thurston, the labor co-chair of the Labor Management Committee, commented on the event stating, "The golf outing provided an excellent opportunity to meet new people, while furthering existing relationships, in a fun and informal environment. This is key, as the building of trusted partnerships helps to foster a positive labor-management climate, which we all know impacts economic growth and development."
